Located on the high Laramie plains near the Snowy Range Mountains, the University of Wyoming is a land-grant institution and the state’s flagship institution. UW encompasses nine colleges and schools offering undergraduate degrees in over 80 areas of study. To provide a visual study aid for students in science and engineering programs, UW is home to the state’s only 3D Visualization Center. In addition to classroom space, the campus hosts the University of Wyoming Geological Museum and Art Museum.
